In 2015, Apple had introduced the Apple Pencil, a digital stylus pen that alongside the iPad Pro. However, it is sold as a separate accessory. New patent filed this week at USPTO reveal that the Apple Pencil can be attached to the Smart Connector on upcoming iPad Pro models
Apple is also expected to the accuracy of its Pencil by improving its tip so that users can have real writing experience. Rumors have it that Apple would be keeping a launch event in this month or in April to reveal the new iPad Pro models in different sizes such as 12.9-inch, 10.5-inch and 7.9-inch.
The 10.5-inch iPad Pro that is expected to feature bezel-less design is expected to replace the existing 9.7-inch model. The newer model is expected to have the same form factor has the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. Apple is also rumored to axe the physical Home button on the new iPad Pro.
Th 10.5-inch iPad Pro is also rumored to come with 12-megapixel camera on the rear and 5-megapixel front camera. The main camera is expected to support Live Photos and 4K video recording. Some rumors hint that it will have a dual rear camera. Its 10.5-inch screen is expected to support 2,224 x 1668 pixels and 264 ppi pixel density.
