If you visited the 8GB Nexus 4 page on Google Play store today, you should have notice that Google no longer take in anymore pre-orders for the device anymore, even though pre-orders for the 16GB Nexus 4 is still available. Apparently the reason for Google to label the 8GB Nexus 4 as ‘Sold Out’ is probably because the shipping time for the device had extended all the way to 10 weeks, making it difficult for Google to co-ordinate more pre-orders from their customers.
However if you still really want to own a 8GB Nexus 4, you can still try your luck at ebay though the price may be slightly higher than the retail price on Google Play.
