Apple Watch Series 3 Enabled with LTE Announced, Powerful Chipset

The Apple Watch is the number one smartwatch in the world. By dethroning Rolex, it has become the number one watch in the world. Earlier today, Apple introduced LTE enabled Watch Series 3 with exciting new features.

With an e-SIM inside, the phone number of the user is shared to the Apple Watch 3. This allows users to receive if a call, even if the smartphone is not with him. The display of the smartwatch works like antenna for connecting to 4G LTE and 3G networks. Users can now listen to streaming music through the Watch 3 from Apple Music. The new Wi-Fi chip improves wireless web connectivity by 85 percent.

A new dual core processor that improves performance by 70 percent is present under the hood of the Apple Watch 3. It also features a barometer. Even though it comes with plenty of features, the size of the Apple Watch 3 is same as that of its predecessor. The company will be releasing a new version of Watch OS 4 on Sept. 19.

Apple Watch 3 Pricing and Availability

It comes in two color choices such as gold aluminum and a Black ceramic special edition. A new sporty band has also been introduced. Initially it will be available in 9 global markets.

The LTE Apple Watch 3 is priced at $399. A variant of Watch 3 without LTE comes for $329. Its pre-orders will start from Sept. 15 and shipments will being from Sept. 22.
