Yesterday, the upcoming ROG Phone II gaming smartphone from Asus was spotted on the database of TENAA with preliminary specs. Today, the two listings of the ROG Phone II have been updated with full specifications. The smartphone is slated to go official on July 23 in China.
The ASUS_I001DA and ASUS_I001DB that are listed on TENAA are the network variants of the forthcoming ROG Phone 2 smartphone. The two listings reveal that the smartphone measures 170.99 x 77.6 x 9.78mm and it’s a hefty device that weighs 240 grams. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.59-inch display that supports 19.5:9 aspect ratio and full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It has been revealed through its images that its display is equipped with traditional, yet slim upper and lower bezels. The handset has a minimum capacity battery of 5,800mAh battery. Its typical capacity could be 5,900mAh.
The Snapdragon 855+ that clocks at 2.95GHz will be fueling the smartphone with 8 GB and 12 GB of RAM. The smartphone may release in three storage versions such as 128 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. The rear image of the phone shows that it has a dual camera setup. The TENAA listing states that it will include a primary sensor of 48-megapixel. For shooting selfies, it will possess a front-facing camera of 24-megapixel. It won’t be sporting a microSD card slot. The handset will boot to Android 9 Pie OS. The listing has no information on whether it features a fingerprint scanner. It remains to be seen whether it has a side-mounted or an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
