The ASUS ROG Phone II has launched today to succeed the original ROG Phone from last year. The new smartphone has come with beefed up specs to deliver ultimate gaming experience. Here is all the information on its specs and features.

The ROG Phone II has a 6.59-inch AMOLED display that supports 120Hz refresh rate with a low latency of 1ms. It supports full HD+ resolution and HDR10. The handset runs on near stock version Android 9 Pie OS that is coupled with ROG UI. The Armoury Crate allows users to customize settings for each game. Game Genie deals with notifications and incoming messages and calls while playing games on the device. The smartphone is equipped with DTS:X Ultra enabled dual front-firing speakers.
Like the predecessor model, the ROG Phone II also features Air Triggers with improved performance and swiping gestures support. The smartphone is also fitted with two vibration motors. There are four microphones and a 3.5mm audio jack on the device.
The ROG Phone II has a front camera of 24-megapixel and it features 48-megapixel + 12-megapixel dual camera setup like the ZenFone 6 on it rear. The ROG Phone II is fueled by a gigantic 6,000mAh battery with 30W ROG HyperCharge fast charging support.
The 2.96GHz Snapdragon 855+ chipset powers the smartphone. It features 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.0 native storage. There is 3D vapor chamber for maintaining the internal temperature of the device while gaming. Host of gaming accessories such as AeroActive Cooler II, Aero Case, TwinView Dock II, ROG Kunai Gamepad, Mobile desktop Dock, Pro Dock, WiGig Display Dock Plus and ROG Lighting Armor Case have also been announced for the smartphone.
The pricing and availability of the ROG Phone 2 is currently under the wraps. These details will be revealed through tomorrow’s unveil event in China. The official renders of the smartphone are also unavailable yet.
