A new Asus phone that has a model number of ASUS_I100DB has been today spotted on TENAA with its images and key specs. It is none other than the ROG Phone II smartphone that is scheduled to go official on July 23 in China. It will be arriving as the world’s first smartphone fueled by the Snapdragon 855+ chipset.
The TENAA images of the ROG Phone II reveals that it features a tall aspect ratio display that is flanked with regular bezels like the original ROG Phone. The handset also features two speakers on the front. There is no fingerprint scanner on the rear side of the phone. This indicates that it could be either placed on the side or embedded under the display.
The rear design of the ROG Phone 2 is not very different from the predecessor model. The handset is equipped with a horizontal dual camera setup. The TENAA listing reveals that the smartphone measures 170.99 x 77.6 x 9.78 mm and it houses a huge display of 6.59 inches. Asus has already confirmed that the display of ROG Phone 2 supports 120 Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the phone is packed with a gargantuan battery of 5,800mAh capacity. The other details of the smartphone are currently under the wraps. The smartphone was recently spotted on Geekbench benchmarking platform with 12 GB of RAM. Also, the 3C appearance of the smartphone has revealed that it carries support for 30W fast charging. The pricing of the smartphone is currently under the wrap.
