ASUS ZenFone 6 Launched in Taiwan for NT$ 17,990

In the previous month, ASUS had unveiled the ZenFone 6 for the global audience. Yesterday, the company had organized a dedicated launch event in Taiwan to announce the smartphone for the home audience. The ZenFone 6 I now available for purchase in Taiwan with a starting price of NT$ 17,990 ($574).

The ASUS ZenFone 6 variants that have been made official in Taiwan are 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. They are respectively priced at NT$ 17,990 ($574) and NT$ 20,990 ($670). Buyers can choose from color variants like Twilight Silver and Midnight Black.

The Taiwanese company has also released the limited edition ASUS ZenFone 6 30th Anniversary Edition in the country. The company had previously confirmed that it will be only selling 3,000 units of the smartphone across the world. The special edition comes with a 30-month warranty. Apart from inclusion of 12 GB of RAM and internal storage of 512 GB, it bears identical specs as the regular version of the phone. A special logo can be also seen on the rear shell of the device.

The ZenFone 6 comes with a 6.4-inch notch-less IPS LCD display. It is fueled by Snapdragon 855 chipset and 5,000mAh battery that support 18W charging. It is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS flavored with ZenUI 6. A rear-mounted 48-megapixel + 13-megapixel rotatory flip-up camera that can be also used for shooting selfie shots.
