Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 and Max Pro M2 Officially Announced in India

The ZenFone Max Pro M2 and Max M2 mid-range phones by Asus have gone official in India. Here is all the information available on its specifications, features and pricing.

The ZenFone Max Pro M2 and Max M2 are both equipped with 6-inch displays. The former has smaller notch, full HD+ resolution and Gorilla Glass 6 protection while the latter has a bigger notch, HD+ resolution and 2.5D curved glass. The rear panel of the ZenFone Max Pro M2 is made out of glass while the Max M2 is metal-bodied phone.

The ZenFone Max Pro M2 has Snapdragon 660 chipset and 5,000mAh battery whereas the Max M2 has Snapdragon 632 chipset 4,000mAh battery. When it comes to photography, the Max Pro M2 offers its users with 12-megapixel Sony IMX486 + 5-megapixel dual camera module and a front-facing camera of 13-megapixel. On the other side, the ZenFone Max M2 features 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera unit and 8-megapixel selfie camera. Both phones are loaded with stock versions of Android 8.1 Oreo OS. They are also equipped with some other features such as 5-magnet speaker with NXT SmartAmp, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock.

The ZenFone Max Pro M2 models like 32 GB + 3 GB, 64 GB + 4 GB and 64 GB + 6 GB are respectively priced at Rs. 12,999 ($180), Rs. 14,999 ($209) and Rs. 16,999 ($237). Its color variants are Blue and Titanium. It will be only available for buying through Flipkart from Dec. 18.

The ZenFone Max M2 variants such as 32 GB + 3 GB and 64 GB + 4 GB are respectively priced at Rs. 9,999 ($139) and Rs. 11,999 ($167) in India. Its color options are Blue and Black. Its sales will begin on Flipkart on Dec. 20.
