Black Shark, a newly built company that is backed by Xiaomi is working on a gaming phone. A launch invite that has surfaced today confirms that the company will be unveiling the Black Shark gaming phone on April 13. Also, couple of photos of the handset has appeared on Weibo.
As it can be seen in the above, the Black Shark gaming phone is scheduled to get unveiled at 3 PM on April 13 in Beijing, China. The text present on it states that Zhu Shangzu, a partner of investment wing of Xiaomi has been invited to the upcoming event. This shows that the Black Shark firmed is backed up by Xiaomi.
Rumors have it that the Black Shark gaming phone will arrive in variants like 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It is expected to house an 120Hz display for high-end gaming experience. The company has already confirmed that it will be fueled by Snapdragon 845 mobile platform.
Update: Earlier on, there was an alleged live image of the upcoming Black Shark phone but was proven to be fake as it was the MatriMax iPlay.
