Honor Strategy and Brand Development Officer Zhang Xiayun has confirmed through a Weibo post that the company will be soon announcing the first phone from the Honor 20 series. She has also hinted that one of its major features will be selfie camera.
An Honor phone with model number HRY-TL00T / AL00T / AL00Ta was recently approved by the TENAA agency. Hence, it appears that this phone that is equipped with 32-megapixel selfie camera could be the upcoming Honor 20 series selfie-centric smartphone that the Honor executive has hinted.
According to the TENAA listing of HRY-TL00T / AL00T / AL00Ta, it measures 154.8 x 73.64 x 7.95mm and it weighs 164 grams. It is equipped with a waterdrop-style notched display of 6.21 inches that offers full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
The Kirin 710 2.2 GHz octa-core processor powers the smartphone along with 6 GB of RAM. There is a lower version with 4 GB of RAM. These models will respectively feature 64 GB and 128 GB of internal storage. The Android 9 Pie OS is loaded on the device.
Apart from 32-megapixel selfie camera, the HRY-TL00T / AL00T / AL00Ta smartphone is equipped with 24-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 8-megapixel triple rear cameras. Its packed with a 3,320mAh battery. Other features of the phone include fingerprint reader and microSD card slot.
A smartphone with aforementioned specs was unveiled in Russia as Honor 10i. There is a possibility that the same phone may debut with different moniker in China soon.
