Yesterday, we reported that the Huawei Mate 20 X has begun receiving the highly anticipated EMUI 9.1 update.
Right now, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has also confirmed that the same update has been rolled out to both the Honor 20i and Honor 10 Lite starting with China.
According to Honor, this update will bring a couple of exciting features to the devices which will give users a refreshed experience. One of the key features include the support for Video Ringtones for specific contacts selected by the users. This feature could be enabled by going to Settings > Ringtones & vibration > Ringtone > Video ringtones.
Next, the new update will also bring the renowned GPU Turbo 3.0 software feature which aims to provide a smooth and speedy gaming experience with improved battery performance. Currently, more than 20 game titles have been supported by the GPU Turbo 3.0 including PUBG Mobile and Fortnite to name a few.
Finally, you will also be able to use the all new Voice Assistant feature which makes use of artificial intelligent and speech recognition to answer your questions or carry out various instructions. To trigger the Voice Assistant feature, you only need to do a long press on the Power button.
Once the update is available to your device, there will be an update notification prompting you to perform the update. Otherwise, you can also head down to Settings> System> System update to manually check for the update.
