On Aug. 21, Xiaomi had announced the Redmi Note 5A budget phablet with a starting price of 699 Yuan (~$105). Fresh information suggests that Huawei is working on Honor 6C as a rival phone for the Redmi Note 5A. Leaked images of the alleged Honor 6C have already appeared.
As it can be seen in the above images, the appearance of the front panel of the alleged Honor 6C is very similar to the Redmi Note 5A. It has thick bezels at the top and bottom and bottom sides of the display. The side bezels are not very slim and the display has black bars on the all the four sides. The bottom bezel has the “honor” logo. The top bezel may feature a selfie flash for the front-facing camera.
The bottom side of the Honor 6C seems to feature a pair of external speakers that is separated by a microUSB 2.0 port. The 3.5mm audio jack is present on the topside of the phone. The backside of the handset features a rear camera and a fingerprint reader.
The Redmi Note 5A has a plastic body with metallic finish. However, the Honor 6C has a metallic rear panel with plastic at the top and bottom portions. As far as specs are concerned, it expected to feature a 5-inch HD screen and it may be powered by Snapdragon 435 SoC and 3 GB of RAM. It may come loaded with EMUI 5.1 flavored Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It may arrive with a starting price of 799 Yuan (~$120). There is no confirmation on its unveil date, but it seems that it will be debuting soon.
