The Honor 9 Youth Edition has finally unveiled today as the toned-down version of the Honor 9 that was launched earlier this year. The registrations of the smartphone have already started on Huawei Mall and other retailer sites in China. It is expected to arrive in other markets with Honor 9 Lite moniker in the near future.
Honor 9 Youth Edition Specifications and Features
The 5.65-inch FHD+ display is present on the Honor 9 Youth Edition smartphone. It offers an aspect ratio of 18:9. The handset features 2.5D curved glass on the front as well as rear sides. The Kirin 659 chipset that includes a 2.36 GHz processor powers the phone along with a 3,000mAh battery.
There is 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup placed on the back panel. The same dual lens system is found on the front of the phone. It is running on Android 8.0 Oreo that is customized with EMU 8.0. The handset comes in color choices like White, Black, Gray and Blue.
Honor 9 Youth Edition Pricing and Availability
The Honor 9 Youth Edition will be available for buying in China starting from Dec. 26 at 10:08 AM. The 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage, 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage models are respectively priced at 1,199 Yuan (~$182), 1,499 Yuan (~$227) and 1,799 Yuan (~$273).
