Honor will be holding a launch event on July 23 to announce the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro smartphones in China. Recent leaks revealed that the new 7nm Kirin 810 chipset will be powering both or the 9X Pro smartphone. Today, three variants of the Honor 9X smartphone with model numbers HLK-TL00, HLK-AL00 and HLK-AL10 have appeared on TENAA with full specs. Unfortunately, these listings do not include the images of the phone.
The HLK-AL00 / AL10 / TL00 smartphone measures 163.1 x 77.2 x 8.8mm and it weighs 209 grams. The smartphone is fitted with a TFT display of 6.59 inches. It carries support for full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixel and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The rated capacity of the smartphone’s battery is 3,900mAh. Its typical capacity could be 4,000mAh capacity.
The Android 9 Pie OS runs on the device. The rear shell of the smartphone features 48-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup. For shooting selfies, it has a selfie camera of 16-megapixel. Rumors have it that since the phone is equipped with a notch-less screen, it could be featuring an elevating camera. The handset may hit the Chinese market in variants like 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The phone does not feature support for fast charging. It is speculated to arrive with a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
The Honor 9X with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage has been benchmarked on AnTuTu. It confirms other specs like Android 9 Pie OS, Kirin 810 chipset and full HD+ resolution. The handset has recorded an impressive average benchmarking score of 219,809 on AnTuTu. The performance is negligibly less than Kirin 810 powered Huawei Nova 5 that scored 237,437 on AnTuTu.
