Honor Band 5 may be coming soon and this is how it looks

The current Honor Band 4 is almost a year old and may soon be getting its new successor which will unsurprisingly be called the Honor Band 5.

Earlier today, Honor’s president George Zhao has teased the upcoming fitness band on his Chinese Weibo microblog – revealing that the device will come with a slew of new health-oriented features which include ability to detect blood oxygen level, fatigue and dizziness, as well as improvements to the Honor’s Trusleep feature.

Aside from that, the Honor 5 band is also expected to arrive with most of the other key features which are found in the current Honor 4 Band. Unlike some of the fitness bands in the current market which merely offers lifestyle and fitness related features, the Honor Band series take it a step further by offering smart features for its users including the ability to receive or reject incoming calls, message notifications and to locate your smartphone.

According to reports, the new Honor Band 5 is said to arrive with the same price point of around S$42 – making it one of the cheapest and most value-for-money fitness band. If nothing goes wrong, the Honor Band 5 may make its official debut alongside the upcoming Honor 9X series on July 23rd later this month.
