The iNew L1 is a mid-range Android smartphone released by Chinese manufacturer iNew back in October this year. The iNew L1 rocks a 5.3″ HD display powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core chipset along with 2GB of RAM. Other key specs which come with the device include a 16GB internal storage, microSD slot, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 2,450mAh removable battery as well as Android 4.4 KitKat running out of the box.

Like most other Android smartphones, we can root iNew L1 rather easily as well. In the following tutorial, I will be guiding you guys on how to root iNew L1 using the vrooot program.

  1. Download the vroot program to your PC.

  3. Make sure you have enabled USB Debugging from your device’s settings.
  4. Make sure there is more than 50% battery remaining on your iNew L1 smartphone.
  5. Back up your iNew L1 smartphone.

Follow the steps below on how to root iNew L1

  1. Install vroot on your PC by double-clicking on its icon and follow the onscreen instructions.
  2. Connect theiNew L1 to your Windows-based PC using an appropriate USB cable.
  3. Next, ensure that your PC is able to detect your device before you move on with the rest of the steps.
  4. use vroot to root iNew L1 using vrootOpen the vroot program on your PC and you should be able to see a screen like the one below.
  5. On the vroot program, click on the ROOT button ( Green button ) to begin rooting iNew L1.

  8. The iNew L1 will then automatically reboot itself.
