The iNew V8 Plus is the latest Android smartphone introduced by Chinese manufacturer iNew earlier this month. The iNew V8 Plus is definitely one of the most powerful smartphone ever released by iNew so far, rocking a 5.5″ HD display powered by a 1.4GHz 8-cores chipset along with 2GB of RAM. What’s even better is that this device will come with an incredible 18MP rear camera, all at a price of less than $200.

Prerequisites before you begin rooting iNew V8 Plus

1. Download the Framaroot apk to your PC.
2. Make sure you have downloaded and installed the required driver on your PC.
3. Make sure there is at least 80% battery left on your smartphone before begin rooting your device.
4. Go to Settings > Security > Make sure you have checked on the Unknown Sources checkbox.
5. Back up the iNew V8 Plus.

Follow the steps below on how to root iNew V8 Plus

1. Connect the iNew V8 Plus to your PC using an appropriate USB cable.
2. Copy and paste the Framaroot apk from your PC over to the root of your device’s SD card.
3. Open the file explorer app ( if you don’t have one on your device, then you may want to download either Astro File Manager / ES File Explorer ) and install the Framaroot apk by tapping on its icon.
4. Open the Framaroot app on your iNew V8 Plus smartphone.
5. From the Framaroot app, select Install Superuser under the Select an action to execute after root section.
6. From the Select an exploit section, select the Boromir exploit. ( You can try Faramir or Barahir exploit if Boromir doesn’t work ).
7. You should see a pop-up like the one above after you’re done.
8. Reboot your device.
9. Congratulation! You’ve just rooted iNew V8 Plus!
