HTC had officially confirmed that it would be launching 6 to 7 smartphones in 2017. However, an HTC community member has revealed the codenames of three upcoming smartphones from HTC. These handsets are expected to debut before the end of 2017.
HTC has used Ocean moniker for codenaming its 2017 smartphones. The HTC U Ultra is codenamed as Ocean Note and the U Play and U 11 are respectively codenamed as Ocean Smart and Ocean. The upcoming smartphones from HTC include Ocean Master, Ocean Harmony and Ocean Lite. The HTC Ocean Master is expected to feature a 6-inch display, 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It is expected to arrive in versions like 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage.
The Ocean Lite will be coming with a 5.2-inch display whereas the Ocean Harmony will be arriving with a 6-inch display. Both the smartphones will be coming with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
HTC is expected to unveil the Ocean Master and Ocean Lite in November whereas the Ocean Harmony is slated for a December announcement. Apart from these phones, the Taiwanese company is also making HTC U11 Life and its Android One variant.
