Codenamed as HTC Ocean, the HTC U is the speculated flagship phone from the Taiwanese firm. The preview materials of the alleged phone have been revealed by Android Headlines to showcase the full specs and features. According to the product presentation, the touch-sensitive frame of the HTC U can be squeezed or pressed for short or long duration to perform various tasks on the phone such launching an app or function.
Some of the exciting features of HTC U is real time HDR+, quad microphones for surround sound audio recording, USonic technology for providing unique audio profile to different users based on their ear canal, Sense Link for pair PC and phone together to share files between both devices and seeing notifications on PC, and more. The HTC U is speculated to come with a 5.5-inch quad HD screen coupled with Gorilla Glass 5.
The Snapdragon 835 chipset is rumored to power the 4 GB and 6 GB RAM variants of the phone. It is also coming with 64 GB and 128 GB native storage choices. Its fingerprint scanner will be present under the Home button and the phone will be running on Android 7.1 Nougat and Sense 9 UI. It won’t be featuring a 3.5 mm audio jack, but will support headphones connectivity through USB Type-C port. The device will be packed with a 3,000 mAh battery equipped with Quick Charge 3.0.
