Previously, Huawei had announced a list of 49 devices which will be updated to the latest EMUI 9.1. The Huawei Mate 20 X is of course, included in this extensive list.
As scheduled, the Huawei Mate 20 X has already begun to receive this highly anticipated update in Dubai which comes with an hefty 4GB file size.
According to the accompanying change log, the new update will bring a number of exciting features to the device as follows:
- Moon Photography feature (as popularize by Huawei P30 Pro)
- One-touch music videos
- Video ringtones for specific contacts
- GPU Turbo 3.0 for smooth and speedy gaming experience
- Addition of EROFS technology for improved system performance and stability
- Improved overall user experience
Since the update is being released in several phases, some region may receive it at a slightly later date. Once the update is available to your device, there will be an update notification prompting you to perform the update. Otherwise, you can also head down to Settings> System> System update to manually check for the update.
