Huawei EMUI 10 will be Officially Announced on August 9th

Last month, we’d already heard that Huawei will be unveiling their latest EMUI 10 on August 9th, during the upcoming Huawei Developer Conference.

Now, the Chinese smartphone maker has officially confirmed on this matter via their Chinese Weibo microblog. Within the post, Huawei also teases the EMUI 10 with a tagline “Use the details to achieve the beauty of quality” (Google Translate).

During the event, Huawei is expected to shed some lights on the new features which are available in the new EMUI 10 and hopefully a tentative list of devices which will be upgraded to the new software.

Although not officially confirmed by Huawei. but speculations are rife among the community that the Chinese smartphone maker may officially introduce their highly anticipated Hongmeng OS (Ark OS) during the 3-days long event.

These speculations were supported by Chinese state-run publication Global Times which reported yesterday that the Hongmeng OS will be announced on August 9 during the Huawei Developer Conference.

Apart from that, the publication also mentioned that the first Huawei smartphone with Hongmeng OS will debut in Q4 2019 and will be priced moderately at 2,000 Yuan (US$284) according to its sources.
