Huawei has finally unveiled the highly anticipated Huawei Mate 10 series. Here is all the information on the Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Porsche Design that were announced on Monday.
Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, Porsche Design: Appearance and Display
The Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro have similar appeal, but there are several differences in the design. The Mate 10 measures 150.5 x 77.8 x 8.2mm and it weighs 186 grams. It comes in colors like Mocha Brown, Black, Champagne Gold, and Pink Gold. It features a 3.5mm audio jack. On the other side, the Mate 10 Pro is a taller and slightly lightweight device as it measures 154.2 x 74.5 x 7.9mm and weights 178 grams. It can be availed in colors like Midnight Blue, Titanium Grey, Mocha Brown and Pink Gold.
The Mate 10 Porsche Design is inspired from Porsche 911 sports car. The Mate 10 Pro and Porsche Design have the rear-mounted fingerprint readers. The Mate 10 Pro and Porsche Design model has IP67 certified body. However, these phones do not have 3.5mm audio jack.
The Mate 10 has a 5.9-inch LCD panel that produces QHD resolution and 449 ppi pixel density. There is a 6-inch FHD+ OLED panel on Mate 10 Pro and its Porsche Design model. Their display supports 18:9 aspect ratio and 402 ppi.

The Mate 10 series are powered by Kirin 970 chipset. The regular Mate 10 is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The Mate 10 Pro has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage whereas the Porsche Design variant has 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Among the three phones, only the Mate 10 has a microSD card slot. These smartphones are powered by 4,000mAh batteries.
The Android 8.0 Oreo overlaid with EMUI 8.0 drives the Mate 10 phones. Apart from machine learning, the “Easy Projection” allows users to connect any of the Mate 10 phones to a larger screen by using USB-C to HDMI adapter to take advantage of desktop Android experience.

The Leica branding f/1.6 aperture 20-megapixel monochrome + f/1.6 aperture 12-megapixel RGB dual camera system are available on all three Mate 10 phones. These sensors are equipped with features like laser autofocus, phase detection, depth focus and contrast focus. The Al accelerator of Kirin 970 brings real-time scene detection and improves motion detection. The frontside features 8-megapixel selfie camera on all three phones.
Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, Porsche Design: Pricing
The Mate 10 will arrive in Europe later in this month with a pricing of 699 euros ($825). The Mate 10 and its Porsche Design edition will be available with respective pricing of 799 euros (~$939) and 1,395 euros (~$1,640) from next month.
