Lenovo Group VP, Chang Cheng has confirmed through a recent teaser that the Lenovo Z5 would be unveiled on June 5. The smartphone is now listed on JD.com. The listing reveals that the smartphone is now available for reservations until 9:59 AM (local time) on June 12 and its sale will begin instantly at 10:00 AM. Even though the handset has been listed on JD.com, there is no official confirmation on it by Lenovo.
The JD listing of Lenovo Z5 does not reveal any information on the specs of the phone.
Cheng has shared some new teasers on Lenovo Z5 on his Weibo account. He has said that the Lenovo Z5 will arrive with breakthrough technology that will make people forget about the existence of border. Probably, he is talking about the bezel-less design of the phone and he could be again hinting the high screen-to-body ratio.
Recent reports have revealed that the Lenovo Z5 will be arriving with a slightly thick bottom bezel that will feature a centered selfie camera while the other three sides of the screen will be surrounded by ultra-thin bezels.
The handset is expected to arrive with a color gradient glass rear and a metallic frame. Also, the rear panel of the phone will be featuring AI powered dual cameras. The handset is also expected to house a massive battery.
