Lenovo will be holding a launch event on May 22. The Chinese manufacturer is expected to announce multiple smartphones on the said date. Recently, an unannounced Lenovo phone with model number L78121 was certified by 3C authority in China. Today, Lenovo has teased through its Weibo account that the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition will be arriving with support for accurate GPS location tracking. It is likely that this handset may go official on May 22.
The teaser released by the company states that Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition suggests that it could be arriving with dual-band GPS technology that uses L1 and L5 frequencies for accurately tracking location. It could end up as the cheapest smartphone with support for dual-band GPS. There is no confirmation on whether the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition is the very same L78121 phone that was approved by 3C. The 3C certification had revealed that the phone will carry support for 18W rapid charging.
There is no information on the other specifications of the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition. The company is expected to release more specs on the phone in the coming days ahead of May 22 launch date.
