LG G8s ThinQ to Debut on June 28 in Taiwan

LG had launched the LG Q8 ThinQ and G8S ThinQ at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 tech expo in February. The South Korean company has confirmed that it will be holding a launch event on June 28 to announce the G8s ThinQ smartphone in Taiwan.

The LG G8s ThinQ features a 6.2-inch display with a wider notch. The OLED display supports 2248 x 1080 pixels full HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. The smartphone can emit sound through the OLED screen. It comes with audio capabilities like 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, DTS: X3d surround sound technology and Boombox amplifier.

The snapdragon 855 chipset powers the smartphone along with 6 GB of RAM. It comes in 64 GB and 128 GB storage models. The handset is packed with a 3,550mAh battery. For security, the smartphone is equipped with a rear fingerprint reader, Face ID and Hand ID. The smartphone is equipped with a triple camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 12-megapixel standard sensor and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. The handset features a front-facing camera of 8-megapixel. The LG G8s ThinQ comes with an IP68 certified waterproof and dustproof body. The handset can withstand harsh weather conditions since it is a MIL-STD-810G grade device. Its color editions are Carmine Red, New Aurora Black and New Moroccan Blue.
