LG Optimus F5 will hit its first destination, France on April 29

LG Optimus F5 will hit its first destination, France on April 29The LG Optimus F5 which was first seen during Mobile World Congress 2013 was finally announced by LG last Saturday. According to LG, the Optimus F5 will first be released in France followed by North America, Asia and some other European countries in the next few weeks. For those who may not know, the Optimus F5 was already announced by Verizon earlier this month – but it was re-branded as LG Lucid 2 instead, so we don’t consider Verizon to be the first carrier to release the device in this case.

As expected, the Optimus F5 will be another mid-range device sporting a 4.3-inch IPS display, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 5 megapixels rear camera, 1.3 megapixels front camera, 2,150 mAh battery, 8GB internal storage, as well as Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean onboard. Likewise, you can also find the latest LG softwares including QSlide and Live Zooming from the device.

As of now, we’ve yet to hear about its pricing although we expect it to come at a price tag of around $400 given its middling specifications. In the meantime, stay with us for more updates on the Optimus F5!
