LG Q9 Press Render Leaked; Launch Could be Drawing Near

LG has launched LG G7, LG V35 ThinQ and LG V40 ThinQ flagship phones this year and the company is now speculated to be preparing to announce a new upper mid-range phone called LG Q9. The handset will be arriving to replace the LG Q8 phone from 2017. The LG Q9 rumors had surfaced in September when its leaked video and key specs were revealed. A fresh render of the smartphone has appeared today to reveal its appearance.

There is nothing special about the appeal of the LG Q9. It features a notched display. Probably, it features an LCD screen. The lower bezel is quite thick. The notch is the home for some sensors including the front camera. The side bezels of the phone are thin.

Rumors have it that the phone will be featuring 6.2-inch display. The Snapdragon 660 chipset is expected to power the smartphone. The SoC is likely to be supported by 4 GB of RAM. It my come in storage choices like 32 GB and 64 GB. The Android 8.1 Oreo OS may come preinstalled on the device. The phone could be packed with a 3,550mAh battery.

The LG Q9 is expected to feature an IP68 certified and MIL-STD-810G military grade chassis.  There is no information available on the launch date of the smartphone. Probably, it may go official before the end of 2018.
