LG V30 Unveiled with Dual Rear Cameras, Amazing LG UX 6.0+, 6” P-OLED FullVision Screen

LG V30 flagship has been made official to rival with recently released Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and the upcoming Apple iPhone 8 and Google Pixel 2 XL. It comes with impressive set of cameras, amazing user experience through LG UX 6.0+ and LG’s FullVision display

LG V30 Design and Display

The LG V30 measures 151.7 x 75.4 x 7.4 mm and with a weight of 158 grams, it weighs less than the LG G6. It has an aluminum frame that is flanked with Gorilla Glass 5 on both sides. The IP68 certified chassis also makes the device usable in extreme weather conditions with MIL-STD-810G rating. It can be availed in colors like Black, Titan, Silver and Pink.

It features a 6-inch FullVision P-OLED display that does not break easily. It offers an aspect ratio of 18:9 and supports a Quad HD+ resolution of 2,880 x 1,440 pixels. It offers a screen-to-body ratio of 82 percent.

LG V30 Hardware and Cameras

The Snapdragon 835 chipset and 4 GB of RAM enables the LG V30 to deliver smooth performance. It comes in 64 GB and 128 GB storage sizes. It also features a microSD slot. It has a 3,300mAh non-removable battery that is coupled with features like Quick Charge 3.0 through USB-C and wireless charging. It can deliver amazing audio experience with Bang & Olufsen audio system. It has a 3.5mm audio jack and its receiver can double up as a microphone.

 

The LG V30 is fitted with a dual rear camera system includes a f/1.6 Crystal Clear 16-megapixel lens + 13-megapixel f/1.9 aperture lens. It houses a selfie shooter of 5-megapixel.

LG UX 6.0+ User Experience

The secondary ticker is replaced by LG UX 6.0+’s Floating Bar feature that gives shortcuts to frequently used apps and contacts, capture tools and more. The new improved UI also brings 9 kinds of Always-On Display screens.


Cine Effect allows users to add Hollywood-like cinematic effects to videos shot on LG V30 using the professional presets. Graphy features lets users to add DSLR-like imaging effects while taking snaps using the professional filters and presets. Hi-Fi Quad DAC provides topnotch presets for amazing audio experience. Other features include voice recognition, face scanning, fingerprint reader and knock code
