The LG G6 is the first smartphone from the South Korean company to feature FullVision LCD screen. The 5.7-inch display of the LG G6 supports a Quad HD+ resolution of 2,880 x 1,440 pixels. It measures 148.9 x 71.9 x 7.9 mm. Since the launch of the LG G6, the rumor mill has been claiming that LG would be also incorporating FullVision display on the upcoming LG V30 flagship is slated to debut on Aug. 31.
Without revealing the name of the phone, LG has finally confirmed that the upcoming flagship smartphone will be arriving with a plastic OLED panel that does feature a plastic substrate but a plastic one that has less chances of cracking It will be arriving with a 6-inch FullVision OLED screen that will also support the same resolution as the LG G6. Previous reports have revealed that the LG V30 would be measuring 151.4 x 75.2 x 7.4mm.
Despite fitting a 6-inch OLED, the LG V30 would be smaller than the LG V20 that measure 159.7 x 78.1 x 7.6mm. This is because of the FullVision features of the LG V30’s screen that will come with a 20 percent reduced upper bezel and a 50 percent reduced lower bezel.
