Meizu 16 Series To Launch In August

The smartphone market is becoming increasingly competitive and while some companies have left the competition, others are strengthening their stands in the market. Chinese manufacturing giant, Meizu, is one company which have always showed its desire to compete in the smartphone market. Rumors have it that the Meizu 15 Series will be launched in April. While we await the launch of Meizu 15, Meizu’s founder Huang Zhang has given a hint on its upcoming flagship. According to reports, Meizu founder said that the Meizu 15 series will be appreciated by users for many years but the Meizu 16 series is what he has created and its the future. Furthermore, Huang Zhang announced that the Meizu 16 series will be released around August this year. Unfortunately, this is the only shred of information that is known about this device.

The Meizu 15 series includes Meizu 15, Meizu 15 Lite and Meizu 15 Plus. From rumors, the flagship will be Meizu 15 Plus and this smartphone will most likely be powered by a Samsung Exynos flagship chip coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. In its software department, Meizu 15 Plus will sport Meizu’s own Flyme 7 system based on Android Nougat. The other smaller variants in this series – Meizu 15 and Meizu 15 Lite would probably be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Series mid-range chip.
