In a latest Weibo response made by Xiaomi’s MIUI Experience General Manager Xiao Fan, he has revealed that the highly anticipated MIUI 11 will arrive by Winter – which is around December period in China.
Compared to its previous MIUI versions, we’ve waited slightly longer for its official announcement due to its longer development time frame. If you remember, Xiaomi announced the MIUI 9 in July 2017 and subsequently launched its MIUI 10 successor ten months later in May 2018. However, even after more than a years, there are still no official confirmation on when the upgraded MIUI will arrive.
Looking at the brighter side, we now know at least that the MIUI 11 will be announced within the next three months. Speculations are rife that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will be the first smartphone to feature the MIUI 11 under the hood, given that the device was rumored to be made official somewhere during September or October this year.
Whatever it is, we’re excited to see what the new MIUI 11 could offer us this time round.
