More than 10,000 OnePlus 5 sold in just 17 seconds

Earlier today, the OnePlus 5 went for its second round of sales via JD.com after the device went out of stock quickly during the first round of sales last week. Shortly after the sales kicked off, the Chinese company released a poster boasting that more than 10,000 units were sold in just 19 seconds. During the same occasion, its sales figure also exceeded 100 million yuan in a short span of 3 minutes 20 seconds. That of course, had already been quite expected given its growing popularity in the Chinese market.

Unlike its first round of sales, OnePlus seems to have prepped more than enough stocks to meet its demand this time round. In case you’d missed out, the OnePlus 5 is already available via open sales in most countries via the company’s own website. If you’re interested, there are two versions available for purchase namely a Slate Gray version which offers a 6GB+64GB memory configuration as well as a higher-end Midnight Black version which is packed with a 8GB+128GB memory setup.
