Motorola has officially unveiled the Moto X4 mid-range smartphone. The Moto X series smartphones always featured flagship specs since 2013. After getting acquired by Lenovo, there was no Moto X phone last year instead the Moto Z series phones with flagship specs were introduced. Since Motorola has already unveiled Moto Z2 Force as a flagship phone this year, the company has released Moto X4 with mid-range specifications.
Moto X4 Specs and Features
The Moto X4 comes with a 5.2-inch IPS screen that produces full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. As the rumor mill had revealed, the Snapdragon 630 chipset that features a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor is present under the hood of the smartphone. A 3,000 mAh battery enabled with Turbo Charging powers the handset.
The dual rear camera module featuring Dual Pixel autofocus enabled 12-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel are capable of shooting good photos in low light conditions and users can also snap photos with bokeh effect. It is enabled with dual-LED flash. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera with 120-degree ultra-wide angle shooting lens present on the Moto X4 is enabled with low-light adaptive mode can shoot bright selfies in dim environments.
Moto X4 features Alexa voice assistant with multiple region support. The Moto Key that allow users to access webpages protected with password conveniently with a tap. Quick Screenshot allow users to grab a screenshot by taping the screens with three fingers. A wireless audio streaming feature allows users to connect up to 4 speakers wirelessly at the same time.
The Moto X4 measures and it has Gorilla Glass panels on both front and rear sides. The IP68 certification brings dust and water resistance to the Moto X4.
Moto X4 Pricing and Availability
The Moto X4 will be hitting the U.S. and Europe with an internal storage of 32 GB and 3 GB of RAM. The other regions are expected to get the 64 GB of storage with 4 GB of RAM. It is expected to arrive in the Europe with a pricing of 399 euros (~$475).
