The Nokia 9 has paid a visit to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S. The screenshots of the Nokia 9 phone and its documentation that has surfaced through its FCC approval reveals that it has a model number of TA-1005 and it is codenamed as Avatar.
The Nokia 9 will be coming with a 5.5-inch OLED display supplied by LG Display. The exact resolution of the screen was not revealed through FCC certification. It will be the first OLED phone from the company as all the Nokia Android phones that have released in this year include LCD display.
For photograph, it will be equipped with a dual camera system on its back panel. It will be comprising of a 12-megapixel sensor and a 13-megapixel sensor. It will be featuring a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
The Snapdragon 835 chipset will be powering the phone. The exact RAM configuration is not available yet. It features an UFS 2.1 storage of 128 GB and a microSD card slot. The handset will be fueled by a fast charging technology enabled 3,250mAh battery.
The Nokia 9 is rumored to get official on Jan. 19. There is a possibility that HMG Global may unleash the phone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in February. The company is also speculated to debut a second-generation of Nokia 8 phone alongside the Nokia 9.
