Nubia Gaming Phone in Works

Most of the smartphones available in the market have similar specs and design. Since many users prefer to play games on their phones, some of the smartphone OEMs have added “game mode” feature. Some companies have even tried to launch gaming-focused smartphones. For instance, in November 2017, Razer had introduced the gaming-centric Razer Phone smartphone. To support high-end gaming, it features 120 Hz display, Snapdragon 835 chipset, 8 GB of RAM and 4,000mAh battery. Another company that will be launching a gaming phone in the near future is ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia as its General Manger Ni Fei has confirmed about it on Weibo.

Considering the popularity of Tecent game “King of Glory,” Ni Fei has decided to launch an exclusive smartphone for gaming. As of this writing, there is no information available on the specifications, features and pricing of the upcoming gaming phone from Nubia.

There is no confirmation on whether the smartphone shown in the below images is the upcoming gaming phone from Nubia or the recently released Nubia Z17S flagship. The handset can be seen sporting very narrow side bezels. There is a possibility that the smartphone may feature a display with a high refresh rate like the Razer Phone.
