OnePlus 5T Officially Unveiled with 6-inch Display, Full Screen Design, Improved Cameras

After months of leaks, the OnePlus 5T has been officially announced. It features a new elongated display of 6 inches and improved cameras that can snap amazing photos in low-light photography.

OnePlus 5T has an aluminum build with a curved rear. It is available in color option of Midnight Black. The OP5T boasts a screen-to-body ratio of 80.5 percent as it features a 6-inch display that supports full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels along with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The screen supports sRGB and DCI-P3 color gamut.

The OnePlus 5 features a dual camera setup featuring a wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens. However, OnePlus 5T features the same 16-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/1.7 aperture and a 20-megapixel sensor with f/2.7 aperture. The new set of cameras can shoot better photos in low-light condition and amazing bokeh effect shots through Portrait mode.

Face Unlock is the new feature that makes use of the front-facing camera of OP5T to allow users to unlock their phones by scanning their face after checking around 100 identifiers.

OxygenOS now brings new features like Parallel apps for clone versions of apps like Facebook, Instagram and more. It also includes a new gallery and customization options.

It is driven by Snapdragon 835 SoC and includes 6 GB RAM in 64 GB storage model and 8 GB RAM in 128 GB storage model. It includes Dash Charge enabled 3,300mAh battery.

In the U.S., the OP5T will be releasing on Nov. 21 with a pricing of $500 for the 64 GB model and $560 for the 128 GB model. It is expected to arrive in various other markets like Europe, India, and China in the near future.
