At the beginning of this month, Chinese manufacturing giant, OnePlus, released its second annual flagship smartphone, OnePlus 6T. This smartphone is the first from the company to use an on-screen fingerprint sensor. On November 27th, the company released news of this phone’s global record and it shows that the OnePlus 6T is one of the most popular smartphones globally. OnePlus has a good logistics plan with its pop–up activity which ensured that people could get a feel of the OnePlus 6T in different cities around the world and this has massively contributed to its growing popularity.
According to the official statistics, it has already held a Pop-up activity in 31 cities in 12 countries around the world. These are the first to buy this device. In the official website, OnePlus 6T page views exceeded 15.3 million. Among them, the Guangdong area is the most active. It is worth mentioning that 47.3% of the views are IT practitioners. Its press conference attracted accumulated more than 19 million views around the world and North America alone, search for OnePlus 6T has exceeded 300 million full-page views.
This number is a bit lower in China. About 190 million have viewed or searched for the OnePlus page in its home country which stresses the popularity of this smartphone. OnePlus is the first Chinese brand to land on the US operator, T-Mobile. It now has access to its more than 5,600 stores in the United States.
