Oppo Find 7a receives the first software update

Oppo has begun rolling out the first ever software update for their Oppo Find 7a handset earlier today. This update will be available over the air and comes with a hefty file size of 290MB. Sad to say, the software version will still remain at Android 4.3 Jelly Bean although the ColorOS will be brought up to 1.2.1i.

Below is a quick changelogs for this update:

  • Added support for smart cover
  • Added Voiceprint unlock feature
  • Added E-warranty card registration
  • Optimized power consumption caused by network switching
  • When using powered off alarm clock, decreased the auto power on time from 2 minutes to 40 seconds before the alarm rings
  • Removed Power-on sound
  • Fixed issue that sometimes the screen won’t turn on automatically after call ended
  • Fixed the issue that stock music player cannot search out .ogg format files
  • Optimized MTP mode, improved speed when copying multiple small files

Do share with us more about the update once you have it on your device!
