Last week, the OPPO PCKM00 / PCKT00 smartphone was spotted with its entire specifications on TENAA. Reports surrounding it have revealed that is the upcoming OPPO Reno 2 smartphone. Today, OPPO has confirmed through a Weibo post that it will be debuting the Reno 2 series on Sept. 10 in China.
On Aug. 28, OPPO India will be unleashing the OPPO Reno 2 series of smartphones such as OPPO Reno 2, Reno 2Z and Reno 2F. There is a possibility that all three devices could be also coming to China on Sept. 10. However, only the Reno 2 among the aforementioned phones have appeared on TENAA. The other teaser shown below confirms that the Reno 2 will be releasing in Ocean Heart (blue) and Mist Pink color variants in the home market.
The TENAA listing has revealed that the Reno 2 has a 6.5-inch AMOLED display that offers full HD+ resolution. The notch-less display is embedded with a fingerprint reader. It is equipped with a shark fin like pop-up camera module that includes a 16-megapixel selfie camera and an LED flash.
The handset is fueled by Snapdragon 730G and it features a 4,000mAh battery that supports VOOC 3.0 flash charging It could be coming to China in 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage editions. The handset has 48-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera system.
