The Redmi Note 8 Pro has recently been confirmed to be driven by the latest Mediatek’s Helio G90T SoC which has a performance that stoods between that of the more powerful Kirin 810 SoC and the Snapdragon 710 SoC.
Now, an alleged screenshot of the Redmi Note 8 Pro’s AnTuTu benchmark test had made it’s appearance on Chinese Weibo – showing the device with a total score of 281,033 points. Although it’s result fall short behind the recently announced Honor 9X, but it’s still comparatively higher than other Snapdragon 710-driven smartphones.
With that in mind, it’s pretty obvious that the Helio G90T is currently one of the leading mid-range SoC available in the market. In fact, the Helio G90T isn’t those typical chip found in various mid-ranger smartphones. It is a gaming-centric, flagship SoC which incorporates the “HyperEngine” technology designed to boost gaming experience with smoother network connectivity.
Besides being the first device in the world to debut with the Helio G90T SoC, the Redmi Note 8 Pro will also be the first to feature the 64 megapixels Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor in it’s quad-camera setup.
