Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) Gets FCC Approved

Earlier in this week, the Galaxy A7 (2018) smartphone with model number SM-A730F had received approval from Federal Communications Commission in the U.S. Now, the Galaxy A5 (2018) with model number SM-A530N has been approved by FCC. The approval of these phones by FCC shows that their arrival is drawing near. The same model was recently certified by the National Radio Research Institute in South Korea.

Rumors have revealed that the Galaxy A5 (2018) as well as the Galaxy A7 (2018) will be arriving with Infinity Display design which means the screen of these smartphones will be support 18.5:9 aspect ratio. However, the A5 is expected to arrive with a 5.5-inch display whereas the A7 may arrive with a 5.7-inch screen. Both the smartphones are rumored to be powered by Exynos 7885 chipset.

The Galaxy A5 (2018) is expected to feature 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. It is likely to feature a 16-megapixle rear camera. Also, it is rumored to arrive with IP68 certified chassis. Leaked information has revealed that the upcoming Galaxy A5 and A7 will feature a dedicated button for accessing Bixby AI.

The Galaxy A5 (2018) has also appeared on the official support page of Samsung’s site. However, the listing of A5 (2018) on Samsung’s website does not reveal any details on its specs. The 2018 editions of A5 and A7 are expected to get official in January 2018.
