Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+ Renders Reveal Design Changes, Modified Display Sizes

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are slated to get unveiled in Q1 2018. There are a lot of rumors surrounding the design of the Galaxy S9 duo. Today, well-known leakster @OnLeaks has released two new videos that respectively show the design of the Galaxy S9 and S9+.

According to the leakster, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ would be coming with respective dimensions of 147.6 x 68.7 x 8.4mm and 157.7 x 73.8 x 8.5mm. Also, they are expected to respectively feature 5.65-inch and 6.1-inch S-AMOLED Infinity Display. Compared to the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, their respective successors will be arriving with smaller and thicker chassis along with slightly smaller display.

Rumors have claimed that the Galaxy S9 duo will both feature dual rear cameras. However, according to new renders, the Galaxy S9 will be coming with a single camera whereas the Galaxy S9+ will be flanked with vertically stacked dual rear cameras. To ensure that the user does not touch the camera lens while accessing the fingerprint sensor, the South Korean company has placed the biometric recognition feature below the camera on both phones.

Like the Galaxy S8 and S8+, their successor phones will be featuring dual-edge curved displays, USB-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, iris scanner and Bixby button. Fresh news indicates that the S9 and S9+ will be unleashed at Mobile World Congress 2018 in February next year.
