Samsung Galaxy S9+ Spotted on Geekbench with Stellar Performance Scores

Reports have revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S9+ has a model number of SM-G965. A Samsung smartphone with model number SM-G965U1 has appeared on Geekbench. The model number suggest that it could be an unlocked U.S. edition of the Galaxy S9+.

The Geekbench listing of SM-G965U1 reveals that the smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset and it is supported by 6 GB of RAM. It is pre-installed with Android 8.0 Oreo. The Samsung Galaxy S9+ is the first smartphone to cross 2,000 mark on single-core test on Geekbench as it has scored 2,422. Also, it is also the first phone from the South Korean company to breach the 8,000 mark in multi-core test on the benchmarking site as it has scored 8,351.

Rumors have revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S9+ will be arriving with superior specs over the Galaxy S9. The S9 is rumored to arrive with a 5.65-inch S-AMOLED screen with Infinity Display design, 4 GB of RAM, single camera and 3,200mAh battery. On the other hand, the Galaxy S9+ is speculated to feature a 6.1-inch S-AMOLED Infinity Display, 6 GB of RAM, dual rear cameras and a bigger battery.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 duo are slated to get announced next year in February through the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 exhibition. It is speculated that the company may unveil the S9 and S9+ on Feb. 27.
