The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is fitted with an 8-inch display that carries support for full HD+ resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The tablet offers an aspect ratio of 16:10. The display is flanked with thick a forehead and chin which makes it possible to hold the device conveniently while watching movies.

The Snapdragon 429 chipset is present under the hood of the device. It is assisted by 2 GB of RAM. The internal storage of the device is 32 GB. The tablet is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS. For additional storage, the device offers a microSD card.

The frontside of the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) tablet features a 2-megapixel selfie camera. The back panel of the device is fitted with an 8-megapixel snapper. The tablet is loaded with a 5,100mAh battery that can be charged through microUSB 2.0. Buyers of the tablet can take advantage of 2 months free subscription of YouTube and three months free subscription of Spotify Premium. Samsung is yet to confirm the pricing and availability of the tablet. It will be available in color variants such as Black and Silver.
