Sony Xperia XZ1s, XZ1 Plus and XZ1 Premium Smartphones Rumored to Launch at MWC 2018

At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018, Sony has unveiled the Xperia XA2, Xperia XA2 Ultra and Xperia L2 mid-range phones. Fresh information suggests that the Xperia XZ1s, Xperia XZ1 Plus and Xperia XZ1 Premium are also going to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018.

According to a German publication the Sony Xperia XZ1 Premium would be the most premium handset as it will be coming with an HDR enabled 5.46-inch LCD screen that will deliver a resolution of 2,160 x 3,840 pixels like the predecessor model. Other specs include Snapdragon 845, 6 GB RAM and up to 128 GB of inbuilt storage. It will include a pair of 12-megapixel dual rear cameras. It will have a selfie camera of 13-megapixel.

The Xperia XZ1 Plus and Xperia XZ1s are expected to arrive with same set of cameras at the front and rear. The XZ1s is likely to house a 5.2-inch FHD display and may include Snapdragon 835 chipset. The XZ1 Plus may arrive with a 5.5-inch FHD display and Snapdragon 845 chipset. Both the phones are expected to arrive with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage.

Some reports suggest that the Japanese tech giant will use the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018 platform to announce the mid-range products like Xperia XA2, XA2 Plus and L2 whereas the MWC 2018 would be used to unveil high-end phones.
