With just five days away from the official unveiling of the Redmi Note 8 on August 29th, excitements will no doubt be piling up with every passing day. Even before the device has been made official, the Redmi Note 8 had already achieved more than one million pre-registrations for it’s debut sale.
Now, Xiaomi has also released a couple of official renders showing off the device’s back panel. Apparently, the renders are teasing on the ergonomic design of the Redmi Note 8 with various holding posture which according to Xiaomi, is to provide the users with a better gaming experience.
Traditionally, the Redmi Note series is always a budget-focused series which consists of mid-ranger smartphones. This time round however, the Chinese smartphone maker is trying to change things a little by building in more features which could turn it into a gaming machine as well. This include the adoption of a gaming-centric Mediatek Helio G90T SoC and an independent liquid cooling system. All these are crucial features given that mobile gaming has been on the rise for the past few years.
Besides having tons of gaming features, the Redmi Note 8 is also the first smartphone from Redmi to sport a 64 megapixels quad-camera setup which utilizes Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor.
According to Xiaomi’s VP Lu Weibing, the device had already been undergoing production more than two weeks ago and is unlikely to face a shortage of stocks during it’s debut sale.
With all these impressive specs and features under the hood, it’ll be really awesome if the new Redmi Note 8 series arrives with the same price range as it’s predecessor.
