UC Browsers has received a new update from its developers UCWeb, which will allegedly make it the fastest browsers in terms of downloading speed – regardless of the connection speed. According to UCWeb, this update apparently improve the download speed on 3G and Wi-Fi network by 15% thanks to the multi-threaded download technologies deployed by the app, which breaks down the targeted file into several smaller files before downloading them simultaneously.
Besides the quicker download speed, the latest version of UC Browser also has a Web Application Center which enable users to add web apps to the browser as well. Likewise, the Image Viewer feature on UC Browser will generate an image gallery of all images from a website to make it easier for users to view images from a particular website. Next up, there will also be a new home screen widget for the browser to enable quick access to the browser.
