Even though Huawei has yet to announce their latest MediaPad M6 tablet, but the device had apparently been spotted briefly on JD.com earlier this morning before it was being taken down.
As seen above, the upcoming Huawei MediaPad m6 can be seen inside the company’s upcoming “618” sale’s promotional poster. We believe that the tablet listed should be the 8.4″ model due to the fact that the front-facing camera was affixed to the top-bezel. Traditionally, most of the 10″ tablet will have its selfie camera located at the side bezel instead. Comparing to last year’s MediaPad M5, we could see some minor redesign on the tablet’s outlook including the location of the Huawei’s logo.
According to earlier reports, the MediaPad M6 is expected to arrive in two different models with different screen sizes varying between 8.4″ and 10.7″. Both models are expected to sport a 2560 x 1660 pixels screen resolution and will be driven by the latest HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC. On the back of the device, it is said to be equipped with a 48 megapixels main snapper – a huge improvement to the current MediaPad M5 which houses only a dreadful 13 megapixels sensor.
Coming to its battery capacity, the 8.4″ model will house a 4,200mAh non-removable battery, while the 10.7″ with an incredible 7,100mAh battery. Obviously, Huawei is not just focusing on their smartphone’s arm. Even their new tablets are also seeing huge improvements over the years.
