Vivo NEX 2 smartphone will be unleashed on Dec. 12. The NEX 2 will be arriving with several advanced features, but the specifications of the smartphone are still under the wraps. Today, the smartphone has appeared on Geekbench to confirm that it will be fueled by Snapdragon 845 chipset and 10 GB of RAM.
The Vivo NEX 2 that has a model number of V1821A has appeared on the benchmarking platform with Snapdragon 845 chipset. It is the very same SoC that powers the Vivo NEX smartphone that was announced in June. The SoC is coupled with 10 GB of RAM and it is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS. The handset has respectively scored 2220 and 8467 points in single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench.
As far as other specifications of the Vivo NEX 2 is concerned, rumors have revealed that it could be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner enabled with 6.59-inch S-AMOLED display. The back panel of the phone has a 5.5-inch screen. Above the rear display is the Lunar Ring that is equipped with RGB lighting. The triple rear cameras are also placed above the secondary screen.
One of the rear camera sensors could be of f/1.3 aperture and the other sensor could be a ToF (Time of Flight) camera for 3D sensing. Below the screen is the NEX branding. The handset has received 3C certification through which it has been revealed that it will carry support for 22.5W fast charging.
