Vivo Nex 3 with Waterfall Display Appears in Another Live Shot

Last week, we’d seen an official sketch of the upcoming Vivo Nex 3 which will arrive with a waterfall display that totally eliminates the side bezels. This means that the curvature on both sides of the device will be more pronounced than what we’d seen from all the curved displays we’d seen so far.

Today, Vivo’s Product Manager Li Xiang has shared a live images of the Vivo Nex 3 as well – showing exactly how the waterfall display will look like in real life. As seen in the image, there is totally no side bezels at all. This is unlike what we’d seen on other smartphones like the recently announced Galaxy Note 10+ where we can still see tiny bezels from the side view which extends towards to back panel.

Furthermore, from the live image itself we could see an absence of any waterdrop notch or hole punch on it’s front panel. This suggests that the Vivo Nex 3 could either deploy a pop-up selfie camera or perhaps even the highly anticipated in-display selfie camera. Since Vivo’s Nex series always has a history of being a revolutionary series, we wouldn’t be surprise if the device is the first to sport an in-display camera.

Given that the Vivo Nex 3’s prototype is already under it’s testing phase, we believe the device could be making it’s official debut real soon.
